Polk owner says " I compared the Polk and Axiom and I like the Polk "sound" better"
Axiom owner says " Here is why you picked the Polk"
1) You didn't toe them in enough
2) You didn't use the right receiver
3) You have the wrong room acoustics
4) You wanted the Polks to win
5) You didn't listen to it right
6) You hooked up the Axiom's wrong
7) You ears are bad
8) You were listening to the wrong music
9) You received faulty Axiom's
10) Polk owner's are predjustice
P.S. Same rules apply to Axiom VS Paradigm and Klipsch owners.
Sorry all, I am a Paradigm/Polk owner and I read a review on an Axiom website comparing Polk VS Axiom bookshelf speakers. Review was a couple years old but it was a good review and he liked the Polk's better, and this was basically some of the answers by the Axiom owners to his review. My husband tells me I shouldn't let their comments get to me, but they get my blood boiling! Thanks for allowing me to rant, have a great one!

You'll get that here in Polk forums as well. Owners of other brands will swear by them. Whatever. Its ultimately your call. If the clearance KLH speakers you picked up at Circuit City during liquidation sound better to you than your neighbors KEF speakers that cost as much as his Cadillac, so be it. Its all in the eye (and ears) of the beholder.Do you hear that buzzing noise? -

Seriously though, like Monster Jam said, perfection is in the eye/ear of the beholder. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences. An absolutely perfect speaker to me, could be terrible to someone else.
