Hey to all Polkies , I was wondering if someone could help me out here . I have a Polk CS350 LS as my center speaker and i just came across onother one cheap . Can i hook up both centers together either in series or paralelle or should i use it in my bedroom system . I am running a Sony DA3000ES receiver with Monitor 10b's up front and 4 Paradigm Titan's for surround and 2 Cerwin Vega's 12" sub's if that help's in the equation . Thank's for any help

Seems a bit redundant. Nice score on the 350 though. Seems to be a very sought after center these days. Bet ya could sell one in the FS.;)

This is actually my 3rd CS350LS . I bought one on here about a year ago from Jeff Beaird and it works flawlessly . I also still have 1 with a blown midwoofer and am keeping that one for spare parts since these are usually hard to come by . But am not sure if i should hook this new one up along with the other one or if i am going to put it in my bedroom system . Still not sure how to hook it up though . Thanks again .

Two centers = cancellation of select waves/frequencies by the time it reaches your ear since they are producing the exact same waves. The further apart you place them (the wider the seperation between same drivers), the more pronounced the cancellation will become.

The only way to potentially prevent it is to have the exact same drivers vertically aligned and placed together (stacked). You will still get some cancellation, but in the vertical plane, 90 degrees off from the plane of your ears. If tweaked right (and the right room acoustics) this MAY present a desirable effect - cancelling primary reflection point waves off ceiling or any hard floor surfaces.

You could roll your own external "crossover" or filter to only put select frequencies to each, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a single point source center in a multi-channel (especially discrete) surround.
