I just picked up a pair of Monitor 10A's for a bargain. One of the drivers is frozen so I need to replace it (6-1/2 in) . It is the MW6500 model. Does any one know where to find replacements? Thanks.

Welcome to the Club
You can find them often on E-Bay or one of the fellow members may have one for sale. I have a few spares but don't want to part with anything these days. Also Polk Customer Service has them for about $50.00 each for members. -
Do you know how compatibility works between the MW6500 and the MW6501, MW6502, and MW6503?East Valley, Arizona

It doesn't

So the MW6500 is the only option? I've heard of people using the various MW650X versions.East Valley, Arizona

Well, another driver, of comparable impedance will work; maybe not as "perfectly" as intended, but it will work... -

If it is the paper ringer 6500 I have one I can sell. Polk recommends the 6503 as a replacement, but you should really replace both. Polk sells them for $48 shipped to Club Polk members.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

It's the MW6500 with a rubber surround if that's what you mean. If so, yeah. Send me a PM.
End of thread.
