Are these any good?
there is a Pioneer PL - 530 Cherry Veneer for $400 on Cl out here.
IDK yet what stylus it has.
What is it worth? Seems kind of high to me.

I am starting to look at getting back into vinyl.
thanks

Solid TT, but not worth that much. That is a pristine example, though. I've got one sitting right in front of me & I'm a little ashamed of how the dust cover looks.

to high... the highest i've ever seen one sell for is $180 in near mint condition. Decent enough turntable.. but this one is over priced. I have one.

Thanks guys. I think the seller does TT restoration work, since he had a dozen or so TT in his ad. I have not had a chance to talk to him yet, but I am guessing he must have sunk too much into the restore of this one, based on your pricing.

agreed with the rest. Way overpriced. For the money I would look at something else.

wow, thanks John, That is a helluva nice offer, but I am still in the research phase.
But that does give me some info regarding $$.

I do have a Denon 7F DD TT with a 'decent' Stanton D72E that I can use, for now, so I am not stuck without anything,
But I love the look of the wood based TT.

denon makes a new tt with teh wood base at 500.00, or you can option for a DP-60 or something vintage from Denon. I am in mad love with my Yamaha PX-3, and will never part with it...

Hey, I got one of those. That is a beauty but it is over priced. I got mine (not quite as nice) at a yard sale for $35.

IMO, if you are going for a Pioneer TT, look for a PL-C590. They are scarce but their TOTL.
