Lou, I deal with this on a daily basis. As mentioned, it's no joke and becoming more and more common. I feel for you, the draining, packing, etc... are all very painful. Glad the medications are working for you, best of luck in your recovery!

This is wicked stuff. I know a couple of folks who have dealt with it and it is no fun.

MRSA (according to my wife, a nursing student, when I just asked her wtf is M R S A?) is pronounced like mersa, and it's multiple resistant staph something, basically Super Staph, and no freakin joke.
I haven't met you Yet Lou, (but we share a name :) ) but I am sorry to hear about your horrible time, and glad you're on the mend. I will say an extra prayer for you and your wife. Take care, and hope to see you around here for a long time!

Sorry to hear of your troubles Lou. I feel bad that I hadndt responded sooner, when I glanced at the thread title I assumed you were out of town playing or something. I wish you a full and speedy recovery. :)

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

get well Lou, I got stuff for you to do, can't lose my audio connection so to speak, now, on the other hand, that is one hell of way to keep from having to take out trash.

We actually had a cadet officer here get the mersa from a shower curtain, nasty nasty **** you dealt with but seems your over the hump.

Take care and sure hope you do make it to the fest so we can see you all trimmed down.....you will probable catch a few eyes, especially from brett.
