Ever notice shopping for new equipt....lets say CD player. Specs at display very limited. STILL remember the look on the young gentlmans face when I asked him what the over sampling rate was!!! LOL!!! It was I asked him a algebra question. Manufactures aren't much better. I have a JVC that is 8 times over. With alot of digging I did find another over " 8 " but was only a single disc where mine was a 5 with exchange and play , but were all same money. Life gets weird.

    What?

Most consumers do their research online prior to purchasing. Also, really - do you expect anyone to memorize specs like that and regurgitate them on demand? Honestly that's kind of a jackass move to ask those questions knowing that the salesperson isn't going to have that information. It's just not tactful.

as a salesperson i agree with nguyendot it is so hard to remember specs for everything and for the majority of consumers they don't want to know things like that.

I sold stuff for 6 years, and prided myself in knowing stuff like that, but honestly why would you expect someone getting paid $8 an hour to know that stuff? People just want something that works. If one is so critical to need those specs, they'll find it themselves.
