Scored a SDA-1; Is it B or C?

Scored a SDA-1 from local CL. It is in good condition visually... I'm sure it is SDA-1C (real wood) but wanna confirm from the experts here.
This is gonna be used in my 2ch setup

Few observation:
  • o Did radiator-push the test looks good. Cudn't do the other tests..
  • o Looks like the guy must hav restored the mid-woofers (not sure)
  • o Inter connectors are attached and it is same as it is in the SDA-1C manual


Questions:
  • o Can u confirm this is SDA-1C?
  • o Are the tweets already upgraded?
  • o Thinking of driving it with Pioneer VSX-33TX (Stereo: 100 Watts per Channel (20 - 20 kHz, @ 6 ohm, 0.09% THD))- is it enuf for few months?
  • o Is it ease to refiish the wood with Piano Black?

    looks like 1c's to me. they are the stock sl2000 tweeters. You will want atleast 200wpc clean to drive them to their best potential, and they are a bit of a pain in the **** for removing the endcaps to refinish them. What did you pick them up for?

    They are 1C's with the original SL 2000 tweeters...nice score! Go easy on the volume control until you can get a separate amp. Not sure about the refinishing aspect.

    Those are stock tweeters, and the 6ohms means 1C's. My favorites. Be careful with that Pioneer.

    John is smoking crack:p 200 watts is a guideline for lower quality amps. I have heard 40 watts of tube sounding real nice.

    "6ohms" - info is coming from Pio Spec not SDA

    I like the spikes that u hav put on urs. What r the bst place to get spikes? Currently I hav carpet and later after 2 yrs, going for hardwood.. so I may order 2 pairs.

    Congrats on the 1Cs. I'm running mine off of a 65wpc Pioneer int. amp (SA-7700) and it sounds real nice. Be a little careful with the volume though.

    Yes, 1C's and you don't need 200watts. I run mine with 30wpc and it's not even a tube amp. You need a high current, quality amp.
