Tweeters for SDA 2b

Hello,
First time on here. Any good outlets for buying tweeters for a pair of SDA 2b speakers?
I bought them yesterday. They have one black dome tweeter in one cabinet and one clear dome in the other. All the other drivers seem fine, connection cable is intact, etc.
I like the sound of the black dome better, it's seems more laid back.
Both are Polk brand and look to fit as original.
Any supply options for the black dome would be appreciated. Also, do I need to replace both for consistency, or will one black dome replacement do the trick? If you feel the clear dome is more effective with the speaker please let me know. I would appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance,
gary

The clear dome is what it came with from the factor, the black dome is a replacement tweeter and also an upgrade from stock. Give Polk a call and tell them you're a club polk member for a discount."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. Do you guys recommend replacing both of the tweeters or just the one that is needed?
Thanks. -
I would pull the black one just to make sure it says RDO-194 on the back. If so, then you only need one and replace the silver dome."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Hi,
The one I lean toward is the black one. Are you saying it would be best to replace the black or clear dome. I don't have any with a silver dome.
Thanks for the help,

Face is suggesting that you pull the black tweeter out so that you can read the back of it and make sure that it is, as he suspects, an RDO-194. The RDO-194 is currently manufactured for Polk, and is considered by most people here to be superior to a factory original SL-2000 tweeter with a silvery or clear dome. That seems to jive with your experience.
If you can verify that the black speaker is an RDO-194, all you need is one new RDO-194 to replace the clear dome SL-2000.
The RDO-194 is available directly from Polk customer service. If you call and mention that you are a Club Polk member, you will get a discount off of the retail price, and I think free shipping too.
One last idea before you make that move, however. It is possible to upgrade both tweeters to RDO-198. This upgrade requires modifying the crossovers. My own SDA 2b speakers have the RDO-198 upgrade, and I recommend it highly. Take a little time to search these forums, and you will be able to make an informed decision.

here is a visual reference Gary, You just need another RDO-194
RDO-194
original SL2000, what you call "clear domes"

That's it, thanks for the photo. The RDO 194 is the one I like. I don't know why I was calling the original clear?? I understand the "silver" now. I appreciate everyone's help and hospitality. Thank you.
