Need to upgrade my reciever

I ran out of HDMI slots a while ago, and i'm getting tired of having to swap cables whenever I need to switch components.

Money is very hard to come by right now, so I'm looking for something like the "next step up". At least 4 HDMI inputs, with support for all the current fancy audio formats.

Suggestions?

Or would finding a 1.3b HDMI hub be more worth it? Would there be any issues hooking a hub up to one of the inputs on the reciever?

Well I looked up your bluray player, why not run the HDMI from it straight to your TV for video and use the multichannel analog outputs on the player to your receiver? On one of the reviews says it decodes the new formats internally so I would assume it can send that signal via LCPM.

Also, if youre tight on money, getting a new receiver won't be the budget-friendly solution for you. Invest in a hub :D Hope that helps!

Zektor has a 3:1 HDMIv1.3a & 7.1 switch (only one I have come across to have both) the MAS7.1 for $399 (on hdtvsupply, did not search for others)
The Zektor uses relays, so there is no degradation of the audio signal, and can also be used to switch composit video, if that is what you need
Digital audio is both coax & Toslink and auto converts.

Lots more techno stuff and testing reviews on link

Another option. No idea on the performance.
