I bought a new 2 channel car amp today. It is capable of running at 2, 4, 8 ohms. I want to run my to rear door speakers into one channel and a subwoofer into the other. I was wandering if it is safe to run one channel at 8 ohms and one channel at 2 ohms.

Um.....so are you saying you want to run your rear speakers off one of the 2 amp channels and the sub off the other???

You could do that but I cant for the life of me figure out why youd want to. You would no longer have left or right stereo. Youd just have mono.
