I personally have not , BUT Collins ( if same company ) early on made mid -to mid high amerature radio equipt. Maybe as a electronic firm they have branched out. Things aren't always what they apear. A company I'm sure wev'e all heard of " Audiovox " is parent company to Advent , Jensen ,Terk , Code alarm , Acoustic Research ect. You REALLY never know anymore WHO your buying anymore by brand name. I forget who but here real recent MTX bought out another firm you wouldn't correlate with MTX. I'ts a crazy world. RESEARCH is the name of the game! Karl

15~ish years ago there was a Collins USA that made tube type subs (Collins Tubes) for mobile/marine applications. They expanded the line to include powered tube and box type mobile subs as they became Collins-Watermark shortly after they went kaput.

So I purchased A 8" Collins Subwoofer Back In 1993-94ish. They Had A No Blow Guarentee Back Then. I Blowed Two. The First One I Blew It The Same Day. There Box Design Is Awsome(isometeric) But, There Speaker Was No So Good. So The Third One I Got From The Warranty I Repalced The Speaker With A Name Brand Sub The Same Size And Ohms. I Still Have It Till This Day. Now I Want To Purchase Another One. I Want A 10" Or 12"For My Truck

I'm not sure I'm digging a "No Blow" Guarantee. And frankly, I'm shocked you blew two - one of which you blew the first day!
Do you hear that buzzing noise? -

I haven't heard that name since 1995. Whatever you are looking at must be pretty old.
I owned one back in the day. I actually had two 12inch tubes that they called bass cannons. And cannons they were. I ran a Precision power amp rated at 500 per side to them and look at girls cause these things would send shivers down your spine.
I think they went out of business shortly after. Bazooka kind of held the market.
