directv dvr question

i am under the impression that if i have 2 directv hr22 dvr's i should be able to pull recorded shows from one to the other as long as they are connected via my network.
does any one here have any experience with this?

    You can't do that right now, supposedly in a future software/firmware release they are going to enable MRV.....

    Did you get the latest software/firmware release? You can do dual life buffers now, their calling it Doubleplay...

    yeah got the update :) did some more looking around on the net and found that the multi room viewing was not capable :( sux would be so much nicer
