Speaker problems

Hey,
I've got a ford mondeo 2001, it has 4 door speakers which recentley have been making a crackling sound, which happened whilst i was driving. This happens regardless of if i play CD or radio.
Before this my back right speaker was blown but still played ok.
The crackling happens when all the speakers are above 10 out of the possible 30 volume. I can move all the sound to individual speakers, and they sound fine, however the back right one now plays no sound what so ever.
When i play the front right speaker individually, there is no crackling, but when i play both the back and front right speaker, you here crackling in the front. No crackling comes when i play the left front and back.
Any ideas what might be wrong, or causing the crackling?

The blown speaker could very well be shorting out the internal amp in the radio. Disconnect it, see if your problem goes away.
