Subwoofer......

So, my buddy's budget system is coming together. I got the onkyo avr from Sal and the 5 speaker setup (RT55's, RT35's and a cs245i). He bought a samsung blu-ray player. So all he needs is a subwoofer now.

Anyone have a subwoofer laying around that they are willing to part with? Would like something better than an entry level polk, but let me know wat you got. Would like to stay between 200-250 shipped if possible; local ti the DC/MD/VA area would be awesome.

    I have a Mirage Omni S8 i would probably let go... i'd have to check on shipping. I was going to sell it for $200+ shipping, but i'm not 100% sure i could ship it for $50 out to you.

    PM me if you're interested. It's DEFINITELY better than an entry level polk. I used to run two of these in my HT setup in a 18x20 room, and it sounded great.

    Honestly, much as i'd like to sell something, it would probably benefit him to grab something more used and bigger, depending on size of room, though.
