Now that I have your attention:D...

Thanks to all of you that have been supportive of me and my speaker dilema over these past months. Thankfully that saga has come to a close, as the SDA-SRS 2.3tl's have gotten the thumbs up from the wife, as they no longer block the windows. I have had to turn up the juice a touch on the subwoofer to compensate a bit for slightly less bass, but my ears could not be happier:)

But this is supposed to be a Karma thread so here it goes... As thanks, I am offering my near mint original SDA-SRS 1.2tl crossover cover plates to anyone that needs them. The only requirement to qualify is that you own a set of the big dogs, and must post a picture of them in the thread to qualify. You must also be willing to pay nominal shipping and packaging for them. I will use USPS packaging to send them out so that cost should not be bad at all. I know I could get some decent cash for them on the 'Bay, but you guys are the reason I am enjoying this hobby so much in the first place.

I will draw a name from all entries on Friday and have them shipped as soon as I am provided an address. Good luck to all and enjoy!

That would make sense, since there aren't really that many people on here with 1.2TL's.;)

Nice Karma though!! I'd be in if I had some 1.2TL's to use them on. Maybe I can manage to fit them on my 2A's...:p

I will leave the Karma going until tuesday, and if no takers by then, I will put them up on Ebay. I hate to do that because unless Larry covered everyone with his little run, I know there is someone here that needs them. I believe they can be modded to fit the SRS as well by drilling a couple more holes.

In please. :) These speakers will be one step closer to 1.2 TL's with those plates. The last step is to replace all the tweeters with RDO 198's. Nice Karma John.

Now if I could only replace that sticker on the back that shows a blade/blade connection and the positive on the right :(

No worries John im sure someone will step up to grab these, I have a pair of 1.2TL's but my plates are in good shape or I would have jumped on Larrys offer. As far as someone using them with SRS's im not sure that you could unless all the original nine holes matched up with the 13 that the SRS uses.

Anyways nice Karma and thanks for offering it up.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

The plates will fit any of the big boys, for the SRS's all you have to do is drill the extra 4 holes. 3" from left and right and 2" from top and bottom on all 4 corners.

    Great karma john...

If I win this Karma I will Karma the old plates to someone else and save them the drilling.

If you need a sub with either model something isn't right.

... nothing wrong with them, I just like a bit more thump from the kick drums, and at the volume I like to listen from time to time, a kick drum should have a bit more, well "kick" to it, and the floor should vibrate a bit. I have the sub set up to do just that. It helps define the lower and not overpower it.

I wasn't necessarily implying that it was the speakers.

    John,
I plan on getting a pair of 1.2TL's. One thing holding me back is the chance that the crossover plates may be faded. If I had a pair of good looking plates, then I would not care what the original plates on the speakers look like. Soooo, if I qualify, I am very interested.
