what are your favorite online stores to get stuff cheap?
ive seen these websites that are descent and ive shopped from some of them
www.onlinecarstereo.com
i got my rf power 500.2 there for $350 w/ free shipping
no problems
www.carstereotime.com
i got my mm6 components for $325 w/ free shipping
I think I got my bd1000 from them too for $385
I had some issues with them though
they said they would beat any competitors prices by at least 5% on their website and they said when my brother called them (I was out of town at the time) they said they would beat any competitors price up to 5% and that the "at least" part was a typo
and my brother was like ok
probably b/c it was my money and not his
lol
they still beat the price though but not by the full 5%
and also they sent me the wrong receipt with the bd1000
and I emailed them about it and they said I was wrong
and im sitting there with the receipt in my hand
they said it wasnt there’s
so I look at the other receipt I got from them
funny thing b/c they looked exactly alike
same address and everything…
but anyways
I would still shop with them again w/out giving it a second thought
its the product im after
and I got it with no problems and it works great
and theyre usually one of the cheapest places and have a great selection
plus the 5% deal
which by the way is still on the website when I ordered my stuff like over a year ago
www.carmedia1.com
I havent shopped from there yet but it looks like im going to get my pioneer premier deh-p940 from there
its only $600 and its hard to find places that sale the premier line
its retail is something like $810
they have some of the cheapest stuff ive seen on the web
(those are my favorite 3)
of course theres always www.crutchfield.com
but im looking for something that sales more than $10 less than retail
but i got kenwood excelerons kfc-x468c 4x6's there for $110(no free shipping)
and 2 mm120s for $290 each($10 shipping)
never had any problems and they have GREAT service
also
www.ikesound.com
i got my rf 1 farad cap from there without digital read out for $100 w/ free shipping
cheapest i could find
no problems
www.sounddomain.com
fairly good prices
www.1-computerdesks.com
ive only been there once
but they have descent prices
then theres vince’s favorite
www.ebay.com
but im looking for sites that are authorized dealers and give you full warranty
and I recall someone talking about an online store for wire
started with a k I think
cant recall the name though
but it had hella cheap prices
anyone remember the name?
i bought all my wiring from best buy and i bought my jvc radio used from my brothers friend
Well thats all I can think of for now
so…whats YOUR favorite online place to shop?

i saw this place that sold audiopipe stuff real cheap -- but i forget the URL -- and i have no idea of audiopipe is any good -- but they had stuff like 0/1 gauge "butt conectors" and 4 gauge "butt connectors" (allen screw type not crimp type) for like 1.50 each and 0/1 gauge water proof fuse holders for like 5.00 each... whch sounds sick cheap.

Well every order I placed with SoundDomain.com was botched. I placed an order for a RF BD500. Waited a week, I called them to find out the unit was not available. Second order was for a set of RCA's. Took the order, Waited. I called them and was given three different dates for shipping. So, In a nut-shell. I dont bother with them anymore. Keep taking orders and never delivering.

well -- yes -- sounddomain does suck with that --

get this - i order two streetwires cheapo patch cables -- they take *no like* 5 F'in weeks -- no rca's -- ship all the rest of hte order but no rca's -- then they refuse to give me my money back cuz its over 30 days -- so i blow a fuse, start threatening lives -- and then they finally agree to credit me for another set of rCA's buyt they had nothing even remotely in my price range for 15 foot lines -- they were totally sold out of under 20 bucks per set 15 foot rca's... so -- i ordered BULK LINE -- yes bulk rca lines -- 30 feet -- then get this -- 30 feet was like on the penny of my money credit -- then they only ship me 27 feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i blew a fit -- didn't get any money back -- and am still not happy

but for the prices they have for RETAIL product u cant go wrong -- i just ordered 550 bucks in stuff that would have cost me 1000 anywhere else.

i use most of the places mentioned for reference prices- have a couple local shops that will come close to internet prices. I'd rather do it that way myslef! Lot easier when it comes time for service if needed...wich so far in 20 yrs..has only been a couple times.....
