EQ to Amp Question

Need some advice before I install a Clarion EQS746 to a JL Audio A6450 amp.
I want to bridge 4 channels into 2 and put out a stereo signal to two boat tower speakers. The back of the EQ has Front and Rear outs. I heard that I should come out of the Front out only of the EQ and the split with a Y adaptor just before I go into the amp. This would split the signal and give me two lefts and two rights that I need, but I've read that Y adapters suck and try not to use them.
The other method would be to use both Front and Rear outs on the equalizer. This way I wouldn't be spliting the signal with a Y adaptor, but I would be bridging the "L" signals from Front and Rear outputs and "R" from the other Front and Rear RCA plugs. I would just need to make sure my fader was at "0" on the EQ. Make sense?
Which way is best? Thanks!

Use the front and rear outputs of the EQ so that the amp has 4 input channels. Run the EQ left front and EQ left rear to the amp front channels and the EQ right front and EQ right rear to the rear amp channels then bridge the front channels together which will be the left, and the right channels together which would be the right.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
