for on this day we lost more than 3,000 men, women and children. I will never forget where I was on this day when I first heard the news. May God continue to comfort the families of all those lost that day, and the families of the brave men and women lost in defense of our freedoms...

I remember it well, because I just graduated college and got my first job as a teacher. I was so young and nieve. When I heard, I was like, "Oh my God, that's awful" but didn't realize right away the impact it would have. I just moved into an apartment, didn't have cable yet, so I was in Walmart for 1 1/2 hours watching the TV because that's the only place I could get the news. It was me and about 30 other people just stood for an hour or more. The next day, sitting in front of 10-13 year olds, it was awkward and difficult. Nine years later, I still remember it like it was yesterday!

My God, I was 19 when this happened and just starting college. How could it already have been that long ago.

God bless all those brave souls who perished that day. The attack, an act of complete and total cowardice, didnt make a dent in Americas resolve or courage. They are all heroes, and we will never forget you. God bless America.
