Yeah I understand the whole wow thing, but to me where are going to find a finer / better speaker than those SDA's for that kind of $$$ ? I doubt it exists.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

You could find a much better speaker for that money. I paid $200 for my pair of SDA 2A's...that's $430 less than this. You could get a very nice pair of 1C's for that much, and have a little money left to get started on upgrades.

Something about that doesn't seem right to me...

I would guess if they went to resell them for that much, they would be sitting on them for awhile.

Those look exactly like my 2Bs, and the IC cable looks to be a pin/blade type too. I'm thinking that they're possibly 2Bs and not As. I got mine off ebay for $167.00 w/local pick up, nice as they are.....I'd never pay $629.00:eek:

Well...they look exactly like my 2A's. I've never seen 2B's with that lip on the bottom below the grille.

The IC looks like a blade/blade to me...but I could be wrong. It's kind of hard to tell in the picture.

$167? That's a nice price. A bit less than I paid. I love my 2A's...but I would never even considering paying $630 for them.

Yeah, there's been a lot of discussion about 2As vs. 2Bs in that cabinet style. But they do exist, they're not nearly as plentiful as the top & bottom slab/panel version though.

They look exactly like a pair of real light oak veneer 2A's I still have too. Unless someone wants to modify, I didn't see any performance differences between 2A's and 2B's. Not a bad price if the buyer is doing a local pickup. Not sure setting the speakers out with the trash is the best marketing strategy, but it seemed to work for the seller.

Interesting...Sounds like there was a lot of transitional variation between the 2A's and 2B's.

Either way though...2A's or 2B's, that pair of speakers sold for WAAAY too much.

Wow, there's a pair of SDA2's on craigslist near me for 300. Too bad I'm moving and dont have the time to go check them out.

Nope... I'm probably just going to sit on them for a while. Especially since there's another dude in LA selling his for $300 too.

Yeah I hear you. I've decided to upgrade my CRS +'s and wait for some 1C's to surface. I'm also going to go to Visual Sound in La Habra to audition some Magnepan MG12's. I've heard great things about 'em.
