The cart if new should come with mounting hardware. No idea about the headshell though. That HK model takes a headshell mount that is round with a flat spot on top that fits into the arm tube. As long as the headshell you are buying is the same configuration you should be ok. I don't know if you have a manual but here's a link to one: http://manuals.harman.com/hk/Service%20Manual/T55C%20sm.pdf

fbm211, congrats on the 440MLa. I have one in my basement retro system and really like it.

You can download a protractor from The Vinyl Engine. I prefer to use a laser printer as they seem to print more accurate. There is a scale on the protractor you measure after printing to ensure it is the correct size.

Check out the link to the manual Fongolio provided. It shows you how to set the overhang and lists the spec, 18mm. Overhang is the distance from the stylus tip to the center of spindle. You can use a ruler to measure or make an overhang gauge using the ruler. They show the arm will swing over the spindle (not all turntables will allow this). Align the stylus in the headshell to 18mm from the center line of the spindle and snug the screws. Then use the protractor to ensure the alignment is correct.

Be very careful not to damage the stylus when setting overhang/alignment. Also back off the tracking force so you don't have too much pressure on the stylus when aligning.

As long as your cantilever is straight in the cartridge body (the rod the stylus is attached to), you can use the cartridge body to align the cartridge to the lines on the protractor. Some cantilevers are slightly crooked from the factory, or by mishandling.

Check out the overhang scale to the left of the spindle hole on the pictured protractor.

You have a FedEx Office (formerly Kinkos) or something similar nearby? I have emailed my local Office large items to print. Shouldn't cost much to print a protractor, like one 8.5 x 11 page.
