Musical Fidelity X-Can V8 Headphone Amplifier - 9/10 - Silver - *SOLD*

I'm cleaning my shelves off to make room for my collection of GI Joe dolls, antique candy collection and pictures of my lawn.

I've had this unit for 18 months and it was purchased new from Music Direct. Music Fidelity's X series has always been pretty cool and I've owned their headphone amplifiers since the V1 soda can. Between the V3 and V8 there's a noticeable difference in performance overall. I also demo'd the newer V8P and I didn't hear a lick of difference, YMMV. This amp will drive AKG, Grado or Sennheiser with no issues.

Here's some technical information:

>109dB ‘A’ weighted
Input impedance 22 k Ohms
Frequency response 20Hz to 70 kHz, +0, -1dB

Connections:
Line level inputs: 1 pair line level RCA connectors,
Line level outputs: 1 pair RCA loop outputs [constant level]
Line level outputs: 1 pair RCA pre-outputs [level controlled by volume]
Digital inputs: 1 USB 1.1 [32, 44.1, 48 kHz sample rates] connection for
computer only

Power requirement:
12-0-12V (24V
total) AC at 500mA
Using mains adaptor (supplied)

Standard accessories:
Power Supply Unit T48A-24-500-3 1 off
Dimensions: Main unit
180mm 7 inches Wide
88mm 3 ½ inches High including feet
240mm 9 ½ inches Deep including terminals

The unit is in perfect condition and all connections have been treated with CAIG Pro-Gold.

I apologize for the stock pics but I thought I archived some before I packed it last night....guess not. I assure you it's 100% stellar and I've sold quite a bit of gear in this flea market. It's 100% identical to the V8P aesthetically.

Includes: Original everything.

S5733VCXFM
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
