Another reason to love 2ch

We know that good audio gear is always a good investment, especially the good vintage stuff like Macs, Dynacos, Marants, Fisher, etc.
So far, I noticed that the very thing we enjoy most on our 2ch set ups can be worth quite a bit. That's the music.
I've been buying cd's for so long now and have a very big collection.
I am a huge fan of black metal. I know I have some rare stuff, so I decided to look around ebay and other online shops to see how much they're going for.
My jaw hit the floor when I saw the prices! Something I paid $25 for 9 years ago is going for $150 today! I think I found about 4 or 5 cd's that are worth about $150. I even have more stuff that are more rare than those $150 ones and can't find any of those for sale. Makes me wonder how much they're worth. Then I went deeper into the collection. Found countless other's going for $50-$80. I paid about $20-$25 for them less than 10 years ago. I have some stuff that are limited to 666 copies and hand numbered. Paid $14 for 2 albums. I found the combo going for $170.
I'm very proud of my BM collection because not only are a lot of my cd's worth quite a bit, but it also contains the history and evolution of the second wave of Black Metal from early 90's to present.
So it's very nice to see that I made some good investments. Most of my BM cd's were purchased blind at the store. I didn't know a lot of the bands when I first got them. I purchased them because I was either farmiliar with the record label or heard that a particular one was touring with another I know and like.
So you guys, check your music collection and keep them in good shape! I can only imagine how much some member's vinyl collection here is worth.
Anybody else have an interesting collection?

Cool stuff. Keep them in good shape for max value. I noticed some sellers of rare cd's also include any additional booklets from the record company that came with the album.

lol:) Didn't look like it, but I was referring to $ value. To me, the music is priceless:).
