It has been a crazy time for me in relation to audio. I got the bug to upgrade my system about a year ago (at the same time I was moving into a new house) and I've just finally attained a fleeting glimpse of audio nirvana. However, I have a whole stack of audio equipment that needs to find a new home so that I can pay off Mr. Chase Bank for all of my new purchases.

All of the gear I have for sale here has been actively used in either my primary or secondary system without any issue up until I went crazy and bought all new components. Much of the gear in my main rig got sold to a local friend, but this is what's left. Click on any of the thumbnails below to see a larger image.

• ADCOM GDA-600 Digital To Analog Converter: This was the very first DAC I ever heard and it's the piece that first opened my eyes to just how good a CD could sound. At this price point, it's hard to find a better upgrade for a 2-channel system that is still using the onboard DAC chips of a CD player. $SOLD to Daboyz

• ADCOM GDA-700 Digital To Analog Converter: This is the same design as the GDA-600 but adds HDCD decoding. $SOLD to Lessisnevermore

• Sonic Integrity Tube Pod Integrated Amp: Exact same unit as the Dared MP-5. Comes with the integrated amp itself, iPod dock, speakers and a pair of Russian tubes to replace the crappy Chinese tubes that came with it. This item has never been used and is still sealed in the box. $SOLD to Lessisnevermore

• ADCOM GFA-585 Limited Edition Dual Mono Amplifier: This is the jewel of ADCOM's amplifier line. It is, essentially, two GFA-565 monoblock amplifiers put into a single chasis. 250W into 8ohms with the capabililty to drop down to 1ohm without any problem. I've just popped the cover off to take a look at the caps, and there are no leaks, discoloration or bulging. I've had this amp for about ten years now and it's always worked like a champ. I'd rate condition at 7/10 mostly for age. Original Box and Manuals. Further specs can be found here. $575

• Acurus DIA100 Integrated Amp: You won't see one of these come up for sale very often. It is a 100W power amplifier mated with a completely passive preamp. There are a number of benefits that this type of topology offers, most of which are listed in this Stereophile review of the unit. I used this to drive a pair of LSi9s without any problems. A truly unique piece. $400

• ADCOM GFP-555 Preamplifier: This is a nice entry-level preamp with a decent phono input. More info at ADCOM's site here. $125

• Nakamichi CA-5 Preamplifier with matching Power Strip: Minimalist design w/high quality parts • Short signal paths for better sonic performance • 1,800uF (x2) Filter Capacitors • 1% metal film resistors and 2% film dielectric capacitors used throughout • Input devices are FET’s w/Bi Polar transistors for the output • Gold plated inputs and outputs • Shielded power transformer far removed from the audio circuitry • Individual discrete audio blocks, for power supply, line amplifier, and phono section divided into Left and Right banks • Three heavy gauge solid copper power rails run through the middle (positive, ground, negative) (see photo) NOT a PCB trace to supply power to each audio block. • 31 step ALPS volume attenuator • ALPS selectors and balance control • 4 inputs and 2 tape loops and 2 sets of outputs (for biamping) • Selectable 50, 100, 200 ohm MC phono pickups • Selectable 47k ohms in parallel w/ 100, 200, 300pF of capacitance for MM cartridges • Power strip will trigger other components to turn off and on based on power amp (does not have to be Nakamichi) $225

• Polk LSi7 Speakers (Charcoal): Most of you out there already know what these are, so I won't bore you with specs. I am the original owner and I have the box and manuals. Very seldom use in my bedroom system. $350

• Audiophase AP-XM101 XM Radio Skybox: I used this as my nightstand clock radio for a number of years and it served me well. Only selling because I moved to a SqueezeBoom. If you've got XM radio, this is the perfect audio companion. It also plays CDRs and MP3s. More info here. I am the original owner and purchased it form Best Buy. $75

• Wii System: Original Wii system /w Wii Sports game • Two Wireless Controllers (included in original Wii package) • Two Nunchuck Controllers (included in original Wii package) • Rechargeable Battery Packs (with A/C Charing Station) for Both Controllers • Two Classic Controller Pads • Two Steering Wheels (for Mario Kart and other driving games) • HD Component Video Cable (original Wii package does not include this, only low-def RCA connections) • Wii Fit with Wii Fit Balance Board • Guitar Hero III with Two Guitars • Games: Rampage, Tiger Woods Golf ’07, Super Smashbrothers Brawl, Carnival Games, Guitar Hero Aerosmith, Mario Kart • $50 worth of downloaded “classic games” including Wave Rider, Donkey Kong 64, Bomberman, and more • I have all the original boxes, manuals, cables and accessories. I priced everything out on Amazon as far as what you could buy the same package for brand new, and I came to $803. $475

• Dodd Levitator: A very disappointing transaction with Russman has lead me to sell this item. I won't get into the entire story here, but Russ failed to send me this item for nearly four weeks and I ended up purchasing an alternate dampening solution during that period because I was not sure I would ever receive this item (and he would not return any of my emails). I finally filed a Paypal claim against him and magically the item showed up (without so much as a single email or communication). Anyway, I don't have a use for it now so my headache and loss can be your gain. It is still in the box that Russ shipped it in. I promise to ship it a lot faster than he did! $200
