I am not sure if anyone has talked about this movie. Infact I dunno if anyone has even seen it. It is definetely a worth renting or even buying movie. It has alot of action and its just a different kind of movie that I have seen nothing like it before. It is truly a good movie and is worth watching.

It's a definate buy for me.

    1. It's got a BADASS car chase.
    2. Guns and fighting
    3. The chick in it is HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT. Nice booty :)
    4. It's cocky, sarcastic, but gets the job done.

I would recommend it as a rent personally, but I'm buying it.

MX: Yes the main actor is rule strictin. He follows rules and the rules shouldnt be broken. He also is very exact. It makes the movie all the more interesting. IMO

I also thought it was a great movie. A little weighted down in the middle, action was non-stop before and after. Not over the top cheesy like ****, extremely entertaining. The bike pedals on the shoes thing, was the ****! :) Soundtrack was quite nice very loud as always. Perfect addition to the collection.

Great pedal work on the BMW during chase scenes. Anyone who has ever driven a manual tranny sports car fast through the twisties can appreciate that.

Fight scenes - some new stuff that was unique and entertaining. He looked great - in superb shape and convincing as a ex-SPEC-OPs bad ****. Also, the injection of a little heart by not killing everyone (leg shots, etc.) reminded me of Terminator 2.

Little else to comment on - plot was a flimsy excuse to string together a bunch of action scenes. Hardly a challenging or interesting movie - they didn't even TRY to build in any sub plots, twists, or serious character development. Actually, the cheesy-ness of **** is what made it more fun - ultimately - than the Transporter.

6/10 - mostly for the Beemer and the fight scenes - they were the Bomb.

Just got done watching it, and I loved it. There just doesn't seem to be many classic-style action movies coming out anymore.
I actually felt the plot was decent, considering this type of movie. You can't compare it's plot against a LotR or anything, but for an action movie, was good.
I think the lead guy, Statham, can go places. He's got a good screen presence, and can kick some serious ****.
Maybe he'll get cast for a bigger-budget movie next.

I agree, Statham is a cool actor. Snatch is a very good movie, IMO. The way it was shot is what interested me the most. Quick cuts, slo-motion, old style technicolor look, classic movie instantly.

Statham is cool enough that it almost makes me want to buy Ghost of Mars......well I said almost, damn that movie sucked.

You may yell at me, but I couldn't even finish Snatch. It bored me to death. (Plus, I hate Brad Pitt) I just couldn't get into it for some reason. And I RARELY stop a movie in the middle. Only happened maybe 5 times that I can ever think of.
The next movie Statham is in has a pretty good cast, it's called The Italian Job. Here's the trailer.

Shep - wow, you are the first person who ever said Snatch was boring - different strokes, I guess. I think it's a masterpiece with a modern noir flair.

The Italian Job - great looking trailer, but it has all the trappings of possibly degenerating into one long chase scene that is long on special effects and short on substance.

I'll take bets The Score, The Heist, and Ocean's 11 will prove to be more intelligent than The Italian Job.

We can still hope for the best, though. Wahlberg's movies have always been hit or miss.

Fun action movie. Wife and I really enjoyed it. Plot is basic, action is good, transfer is excellent, audio is good. I noticed the music tracks were excessively bass heavy and explosions lacked solid impact bass, anyone else notice this?

I thought playing the entire movie at -25 made it loud enough!
I agree, the music was loud, and movie was sorda drained in surround and bass. Oh well,

Yep, bass was a yawner in this one.

You'd think they'd have it all figured out after bass monsters like **** were released. That avalanche scene kicks major booty - goddamn the SVS took it like a man and rattled all the picture frames sideways in that HT room.

Like you honestly doubted the subsonic and subhuman capabilities of the now infamous vented Tempest? C'mon my friend, just spin Titan AE for a little assurance.

Hey have you tried that sonic blaster scene in Minority Report? The first one's a biggun'. :D

Just got done watchng it. Very good action movie. Loved how the fight sequences were choreographed. (sp?) I thought they were new and refreshing and to the directors credit they stayed away from the Jackie Chan type fights. There were some similarities, but they created so much more.

    Going to get this one.:)
