I need a good shop-vac.

We are getting the fort re-roofed over the next several days. The dust and debris is a disaster in the garage (according to Linda), so I need a good one, not one that sucks ;). Recommendations?

    Thanks scott. I was mainly looking at Lowe's and HD. I'll check Sears next.

    go to hd and get the rigid it is the same as sears only cheaper
    this brand is far better than shop vac.

    My dad has a HD vac, works awesome. That thing picks up the carpet.

    Home Depot has a Rigid brand, 5.0 hp, 12 gallon for $70. I might swing in tonight and check'em out. Sears has a Craftsman (same specs) onsale for $70 until 3-22. There's not really a Sears near by, so I'll most likely end up with the Rigid.

    I just bought a 20 gallon Rigid from Home Depot. Very nice. Impressed with all the power it produced.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Bought the 12 gallon, 5.0hp Rigid last night. Very nice, very powerful. It'll do the job nicely. Now, I just have to wait until the roofers seal off the roof so I can put her to work.

    I never expected the kind of mess asphalt shingles leave behind. I've got an entire day of cleaning in the garage.

    Ron - I clean so much darn asphalt dust outta my gutters I could make my own shingles! :mad:

    Rigid also works great for me.
