what would you guys feel comfortable with in spk wire distance. I want to wire my outdoor atriums and will probably need 2 runs of 100 feet or so. or i can mve my receiver if needed

I have my Atriums with close to that, maybe a little more. I used 14 g wire, and power them with an Adcom 535. Sounds pretty good.

I'd imagine you'd be fine with 100' runs. Shorter is better, but with an outdoor setup, it's not as critical. I'm guessing you won't be doing much critical listening on the Atriums anyway.

I ran 10ga wire to my Atrium 65's but I had extra wire so I just used it up.....I would think that 12 ga would be more than adequate for that run.

I helped my Dad wire up his outdoors with 16g and they sound great. You won't need anything else.

Need higher gauge than 16: at 50 feet even the "wires don't matter" crowd will tell you that it starts to make a difference. I'd personally do 12, but 14 is probably ok.
