A. 2 Polk PSW505 subs
or
B. 1 Polk DSW600 sub
or
C. 1 SVS PB-12NSD

pick A, B, or C (edit...this would be 3 options)

I'd go with the SVS simply because I favor deep rich bass as opposed to output you'd get from running dual subs.

    Is this for HT, music?

    Music or HT?

Doesn't matter with SVS. Honestly. I pick 3.

If he's after a good musical sub then he should skip all three and grap himself a nice sealed sub.

I would go with SVS, but if there was option D, perhaps Epik.

I would pick SVS PB12-NSD. Actually just got mine yesterday, the thing is a beast.

The options would be for almost 100% HT (should have said that in the first post). For some reason I like idea of the dual PSW505's, but I currently have NO sub, so figured I would ask (and the 505 can be had for 250.00 shipped).

I've tried mine sealed for music, and don't get me wrong, it doesn't sound bad, but it doesn't really have the punch I would want if I listened to more music. The ultra is a dominate force with HT and games, but strictly for music I bet you could do better for less.

I know this is off topic since the op said almost 100% HT, but I just thought I would throw that out there.
