Adding a subwoofer to my system
Adding a subwoofer to my system.
The total dimensions of my room in meters:
Length 7.00 m X Width 7.5 m X Height 3.00 m
I'm thinking a Velodyne Optimum 12

Bernal,
There are alot of fine subwoofers out there today, but I for one would not hesitate on purchasing a Velodyne. You just cant go wrong.

Also consider the Polk Audio DSW microPRO 4000 as an alternative to the Velodyne.
After all this is the Polk Audio forum.
http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/dsw/index.php?s=dswmicropro4000
These babies are available from JR for $1000 or Amazon for $1020. Both include shipping.

At that price get a pair to rumble your room with a high WAF!
Hi,
Thanks for your recommendation.
He had observed the DSW4000. However, the characteristics of the Velodyne I like
more to my setup and room. -
For a large room, it will be hard to beat SVS for a few more dollars.
Box or cylinder designs, take your pick.

You don't like the response?
The answer is clear. However, the features I'm confused.
My room is 24 feet long - 26 feet wide - 10 feet high.
Velodyne is 2400 watts Dynamic/1200 watts RMS Power
SVS is 750 Watt RMS Built-In BASH Amplifier
