What CD burning program does everyone use?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what programs you all use to burn your CD's. I've been using Windows Media Player for years for all of my CD burning. I just got a new computer, and in addition to Windows Media Player, it has a Corel Ulead Burn. Now 4.6SE. Should I use the Corel program, or should I just stick with Windows Media?

Is there a better software out there that I should look into getting?

Thanks in advance,

Curt

Also...what's going to get me better quality when ripping them onto the computer? Windows Media Audio Lossless...or WAV Lossless?

Curt, I have always used Nero, free copies from friends and it has always done good by me. Honestly though, just the one I use, don't know if it is better per say than anything else out there.

If i'm burning something special I'll use nero, but it it's just a generic ISO that needs no special settings or layer breaks (dual layer discs), I prefer the right click - burn of ISOrecorder.

Chiming in... Nero, though the bloat associated with it is frightening.

For ripping audio: Exact Audio Copy (google EAC) is the one. Prefect bit for bit rips to .wav which you can then convert to your favorite flavor of lossy or lossless. A lot of work but the end result beats iTunes or WMP in my opinion.

ImgBurn here as well. It will rip or burn CD's or DVD's.

    Or sometimes I'll use iTunes.

Curt, the basic Nero comes with most 'retail' DVDR computer players.
I use it for burning data DVD's.
Free download of Nero 9 (limited features)
    http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-nero9-free.php
I have mostly used WMP and iTunes for burning CD's for audio without a problem.
