Adcom GFA-5500 and GFA-7500

I've been looking at picking up a GFA-7500 to fill out the rest of my amp section. Have the GFA-5500 right now (200 wpc @ 80 ohms, 2 channels)
The 7500 is 150 wpc @ 8 ohms, 5 channels.
Any reason these two wouldn't play nice together (for a 7 channel system, or perhaps 5 channel with bi-amped fronts)? Is having a slightly higher wattage for the Left and Right good/bad/indifferent? Is it logical to assume that I'll have to lower the outputs on the L/R to balance with the other channels (to compensate for the wattage difference)
Thanks.

Does anyone also know what sized/type hex/other I need to get this top plate off?
