Yamaha MX-1000U Power Amp

Well, since i bought the Odyssey Stratos Plus Amp from Gebby I guess the Yamaha has to go. Would prefer a local sale as i do not have the original box and its a pretty heavy amp. I can and will drive a bit to meet someone however. I do not have pics yet as i just bought the Odyssey and would prefer to take the pics after it arrives and I take the Yamaha out of the system. Its in great shape, usual scratches, have a pdf copy of the manual. It does have one quirk which does not affect the sound quality but want to make it known. The lighted meter reading for the right channel works fine, but, about halfway up the scale there is a solid red line that is always there. probably an easy fix but it didn't bother me as the amp was across the room from me and I couldn't read what the output was anyway :)

The amp powered my Tannoy's very well and they sounded very nice. If I do end up shipping it I will probably doublebox it with styrofoam ect....won't be light :)

Asking $475 local pickup, unit weighs 45lbs unboxed, so if you want a shipping quote just give me your zip. This is a very good price as one just went on Epay for $710.

    Awesome amp - I have it sitting out right now. HEAVY! I love it, probably will never sell it even if I replace it.

    The Stratos seemed to have more slam, more dynamics...course that was with my system and my ears but that's what I heard:mrgreen:
