Hi,

Was wondering how much power the mm6501's need?

I'm running a RF P450.4.
and it delivers:

60 watts @ 4 ohm x 4 channel
110 watts @ 2 ohm x 4 channel
225 watts @ 4 ohm bridged x 2 channel

Any opinions on how I should wire them up?

thanks in advance.
Glen

If youre not running rear speakers you should bi-amp them. Run the tweeters thru the crossover off the amps front channels then run the mids straight off the rear channels and use the mids natural roll off. This will give you the best flexibility in tuning the output of the tweeter to blend with the mids.

    Hi Macleod,

Actually i am running rears for the moment, but was planning on going without.

Lets see if i understand properly...

the crossover for the tweets will be my high pass - Do I set the amp to all pass ? or high pass?,

Same question for the mids - all pass or Low pass?

    Thanks for your time
