I rented this last weekend on Blue Ray via the always enjoyable experience of walking into a Block Buster (on a side note - I think someone should stick in a fork in the Block Buster business model). Back to the movie - IMO it can be summed up in 2 words - completely moronic (if moronic is a word). I won't spoil the ending or give away why people were killing themselves. I'll let you waste your own 5.99 to find out.

After last weekend, I decided we needed to try Netflix (any feedback appreciated). Tonight I am reduced to watching Magnum Force on the ION channel for the 127th time in my life. Oh well...

It's useful to search the Movie section around here for a review before you go renting.

But I highly understand the fun in just grabbing a movie to rent without reading reviews on it. Although we usually never agree on anything around here, when it comes to movies, a real stinker is obvious if you peruse the threads.

    But there's the spoiler risk...

I've used netflix for 2 years and really like it, you can find movies there that you'd never find anywhere else, like the really obscure and ancient titles. It DOES take a while to receive the newest releases, so I just request everything a month after the release date, and it works out just fine! They have a free trial offer also.;)

Have netflix for a couple of years now and have been very pleased overall. Some new releases may not be available immediately and some movies may not be in the library at all (for example they do not have the Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" movie for unknown reasons). Highly recommend you give them a trial and see for yourself.

A roaring shark... wicked awesome. I also like the flashbacks she was having to a time which she could not have possibly seen. Retarded.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Yep. I too was let down that I wasted 2 hours of my life watching this movie. Spoiler alert: There is no climax or turning point. What you see in the first 5 minutes is the whole movie.
