center channel upgrade
Considering to upgrade my cs2 to possibly a csi5 or the new one the a6 or w/e its called. Would this be an upgrade that I would really get some benefits from? Would this be a nice improvement over my cs2?
-Thanks in advance

Should match better to your front and itll be a much better center channel.
Sell your CS2 and upgrade to the CSi series imo.Truck setup

Its a timbre match to your RTi series speakers, the csi that is. Its important to have a complete frontstage timbre match, surrounds not too important but some prefer to match all the way around.Truck setup

The real reason that I want to upgrade is that I like to watch movies extremely loud and although the cs2 goes pretty loud I want it just a little louder. Could one assume that the Csi5 could go a little louder than the cs2?HOME AUDIO:

Have you thought about a monoblock amp, or a 3 channel (for surrounds+center). Speakers love being fed powerful, clean currentTruck setup

Well since i am getting a two channel on monday, it should free up a decent amount of power from the receivers amp to help me go a little louder.
Although I am considering pickin up one of them monoblocks...hahaHOME AUDIO:

You've had your CS2 long enough for proper break-in right?
Ive read about alot of people being happy with the CS2, not a perfect match to your RTi's but if you like it and it sounds good enough for you then by all means keep it. External amplification is always the way to go though for SQ.Truck setup
