I suggest you scan and post these over at hifiengine.com They already have a few user manuals for the Monitor line. Free access if you register. The guys that run the site have been very helpful (e.g. download link to large file size, high-resolution version of a service manual, that I had arranged for someone to upload).

The rest will have to wait for some other time. I scanned one other (the 2-pager graphic) but it exceeded the 2MB size limit. The other ones with graphics and more pages would be even larger.

In the picture of him sitting next to the reg 2.3 they have no donut drivers, did they run some through like that then decide to put donut drivers in?

Very nice scans, including skrol's of the Monitor Series 2. I had the 5 or 5jr from 1987-1997. They cost either $185 per pair or per speaker, I can't remember which. I bought them after reading an ad in Stereo Review about how much better Polk speakers sounded than others. I wasn't really thinking about buying a stereo that day, but I walked down to Myer-Emco in downtown Washington DC, and bought a pair of Polks and a Kyocera receiver and CD player.

Anyway, FF to 2009. I'm a brand-new Club Polk member. I'm looking for a pair of speakers for a small (12 x 13 ft.) music room, and I thought about some new Polks.
