No love for Shadow Complex on CP? For those who don't know its a Metroidesque 2.5d side scrolling shooter. The map system is very reminiscent of Super Metroid, as is the exploration and upgrade system. It was developed by Chair and Epic and is Cliffy B's (of GoW fame) latest game.

As for the game itself, I am a few hours in and so far its pretty frecking sweet. Starts off kinda slow and the plot is a little sparse, but its just a ton of fun to play and one of those games where you just want to play a few minutes more to get the next power up. I would be playning now but my controller is charging, so I thought I would spread the love.

If you have a Xbox 360 you really should check the game out, read a review or two, or I believe there is a demo available. IMO its a XBLA "must own" along side games like Braid and Castle Crashers (which has new DLC out)

Played it, beat it, LOVED IT. In my opinion, it's the best XBLA game ever released and I hope it's a sign of things to come. Considering the relatively small download size, it's amazing what Chair was able to do with the Unreal engine, especially the cutscenes that flesh that game out.

    Definitely a must buy.

Yeah I noticed the size, ~800mb compared to the Batman demo which was 1.3gb.

Finished it right after getting the rocket launcher, I decided to explore and wound up in a area I wasn't supposed to. Sucks cause it saved right before the end battle, now I gotta replay...which isn't a bad thing.

Cool game. Well worth the price of admission. Interesting to see the Unreal Engine used this way.
