They look like either Monitor 5's or 5Jr's. With original stands...which is a plus. They look too skinny to be Monitor 7's...
The lack of fuses on the back means that they're later production ones...most likely either 5B's or 5Jr+'s. Probably with the SL-2000 tweeter...maybe the SL-2500.
At $60, I'd jump on them. That's a good price for either one of those two speakers.
If he had some pics with the grilles off, it'd be a lot easier to identify them.The nirvana inducer-
