Crossover Question!

Hey all! I just picked up a Marantz SR9600 to upgrade my SR9200 receiver. This new bugger allows for crossover settings, which the old one didn't and also has that microphone calibration setup. So far, I've found the auto calibration to be okay for distance and test tones, but that's about it. It keeps thinking all of my speakers should be classified as "Large" and I disagree. I have a pair of LSI 15's in the front, an LSIC center and LSIFX for rears, for sub I have a new SVS PC12 NSD. My question is, what are you guys setting your crossovers at for the LSI 15's. Currently, I've got all of my speakers set to small except the 15's, which are on large because I like the trickle of bottom end to come out of them in addition to my SVS sub. I've currently got my crossover set at 80hz to be conservative. Any suggestions/ideas would be welcomed! Thanks! DJ:)

From what I have found you will have to play with the setup of your sytem to get it to sound right for you.

In most cases the auto setup allows people who don't know much about HT to get a quick and easy setup and it will sound fine to them.

I have had my 2 channel system up for over a year now and still play with the cross over and phase points to try to get it to sound better.

You can try 60 since lsi can handle easily well below that, so you can give great head room for the sub to perform at its best, give a feedback once you try.
