I read that there is going to be a line of momo amplifiers this year that will will be available in july. Is this true? If it is, what are the amp specs, what do they look like, how much will they cost, and where can I get them? I just bought a new wrx and I was gonig to use mtx amps but if polk makes an amp, I'm sure it will be worth waiting for.

Here is a peek at the new momo line of amps.

I don't think any detailed specs or prices have been released yet, but you can bet on them being good quality and a good "bang for the buck" - but not cheap. ;)

Maybe someone at Polk can shed some more light?

    the sticker in front of the pic of the momo amp says 150 x 2 at 4 ohms.. 500 x 1 bridged. that's probably at 14.4 volts. if so, expect 350 - 375 x 1 bridged at 12.5 v

all in all ... a solid little amp i believe.. ideal for running both a set of comps in stereo or a single sub bridged.

of course no one can really give an opinion until these things are out an dbeing used every day by consumers... but i'm very hopeful.
