Folder/File Management question

I have two folders with largely the same information in them, though accidentally. I want all of the information in just one folder. Each of the two folders in questions consists of many folders themselves, and files in each of those sub-folders. I want to make sure the desired main folder has every sub-folder, but also that if there is a difference between two respective sub-folders that I keep the more complete version.
Is there an easier way of doing this than comparing each sub-folder manually (I'm doing so by size on the HD), then keeping the more complete version (in this case the larger one)?
I hope you can actually make sense of that.
Thanks!!

just copy one into the other. If there's identically named files you can either confirm overwrite of each one (and reject it if you want to keep original) OR if you know all the identically named files are the same you can just click the "Yes to all".Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

Sorry I didn't update this earlier. A friend sorted out my ignorance for me. I didn't know Windows was that 'smart' when copying and pasting folders.
Thanks though!!George Grand wrote: »
