What makes an speaker 'airy'?

airy, or spacious - which i find to be one of the greatest thing about speakers compare to hi end headphones. it is magical, suddenly the musical elements are fulfilled the oxygen particles, throw you into the music. thank to my RTI6, despect the missing low end, i found they are excellently for my taste. :) my question…
