I just spoke with him on the phone about a month ago.I just found out that he had passed, rather unexpectedly,I assume.Great affordable gear manufacturer.

That's a nice note on the Wright home page; thanks for providing the link.
He was, by all accounts, a fine fellow and he certainly built some fine,and high-value, equipment (as a labor of love, I think).
I am saddened to learn of his passing.
