Ha...that price is going to go WAAAAY up before the auction ends. There will be no steal...lol

The real action on ebay happens in the last 5 minutes of the auction.

Also...I believe those are SRS's, not 1.2's or TL's...don't quote me on that though.

    Road trip? :D

They could stay low, but I doubt it. I'm not sure which version, but I am sure they are not TL's. Regardless....someone's going to be happy in the end.

What a strange amount to bump the bid to...$423.51 from 350.
If these were at your nextdoor neighbors, just curious what you guys would offer as your "take it or leave it" price? 600? 800?

I don't know.....the seller didn't identify them as even being SRS models, and made no effort to describe their qualities and desirability! They just might escape the attention of a lot of potential bidders. Any guesses as to the final bid ????:)

That's not strange at all. The previous bidder had probably put in a maximum bid of around $420, and the next bidder had to go higher.

As far as the final selling price...that depends on a lot of factors. The description is really bad...there's no description of the condition at all really. Pics are decent...but could have been a lot better.

I'd say they'll sell for at least $650-700...but probably more. I'd say $800-900 would be more in the ball park. If there are enough people showing interest, they may go as high as $1000-1200.

    I will say around $1350

One thing I have noticed with polk SDA's is the price could go at a steal of a price or way more then what I would be willing to pay. It really depends on who is buying, where they are located, and if some crazy **** polkster is willing to drive 10 hours to pick them up. I picked up a set of minty 1C's for $250. the very next week I think somebody paid like $450-$500 for a set.

If these sell for less then $600 then somebody just stole them IMHO.

Just curious Lasareath, did any of the potential bidders contact you to come listen to them before bidding?

I believe he's talking about a pair of 1.2TL's that he bought...not sold.;)

3 and a half minutes left. The real bidding is about to start.;)

The one thing that might help keep the price down is that it's local pick up only. The eliminates a lot of potential buyers.

They went from $428 to $610 with about 4 seconds to go. 3 new bids in a few seconds.

Still...that's a good price. They fell $40 short of my minimum expectations.

Someone got a pretty good deal.

    Damn...you were $10 closer than I was...

I guess you won the pink slip. You can have my circa 1992 Mini Monitors...one of them has a blown woofer. I'll also be filling them both with yogurt before I send them out...by the time you receive them it should be nice and rancid.:p

I'll throw in my Monitor 7A's and my SDA 2A's if you can stand on one hand and rub the top of your head with the other hand, while singing the national anthem backwards, and balancing a stack of 4 fish on one of your feet.

Accomplish all of that...and the speakers are yours.

Don't count yourself down and out just yet. I've seen this senario numerous times:

    Seller says Local pickup only.

Some **** from 2,000 miles away (kinda like myself) bids on them and wins... Buyer wants shipping, or is 'planning' on coming to get them... deal falls through...

    Speakers get relisted :D

Maybe not in this situation, but, definitely look for the relist in the next few weeks.
