I have about 500 dvd movies that I have backed up to my home theater pc and have used anydvd and 1ClicDVD Copy Pro with mymovies very successfully. I have recently upgraded to a blu-ray drive and have a collection that I would like to back up to preserve the movies in their original quality and format.

Is there an easy way to do this?

I have searched and it seems that at least 5-6 steps are needed (rip blu-ray, create .iso image, mount on virtual drive, etc.) and have tried a handful of software programs that don't seem to work that well.

I'm just looking to back up the main feature and english soundtrack. Any suggestions for software or a walkthrough is greatly appreciated.

Hmm, never ripped or got into how to rip a bluray but if thats all it requires you to do I can take a look at some old software I used to use (cant remember the name). It creates/runs iso images along with other formats and creates a virtual drive for you to run them off of, I used this for copying all my PC games to my HDD so I didnt have to insert the games cd anytime I wanted to play one.

Nvm found it, here it is although this is a different/updated version.

Ill look through my discs/archives because although you have to pay to register to get all the benefits/features of the software, I had a way to bypass that with a "fake web registration." (Tricked the app into thinking it directly connected to the websites server for computer registration, using a 'virtual' server)

I see, meaning youre not sure how the virtual drive would react when trying to play the image of the bluray movie. Its worth a shot, let me know how it works out!
