Got the hood of my 91' Ford F150 painted last week. looking good. color is called carmine red.... the shop did a good job. they only did the hood. very close match to the rest of the truck. unless you look close, you can't tell that it's not an exact match. I am very happy about it.
the shop also buffed the rest of the cab and fenders to give it a closer shine.
total cost for all $477 I am very pleased with the results,
(this is only a weekend truck.. not an everyday vehicle)
here are a few pics of the finished work.

Looks very nice !! In case you don't have an underhood insulation pad installed........you definitely should, protects the finish from excessive heat and dampens noise too.;):)

Looks good.
My car's hood, front fenders and rooftop are being re-finished right now. Should be done tomorrow. I'll post pics when done.

Nice looking truck. Does it have the 300ci Straight 6 engine? If so, you're wise to keep that body looking good... buddy of mine has a similar truck with over 400k miles on it. With the PA road salt, the body is pretty rough, but the engine and trans are still going strong last I heard.Ludicrous gibs!

it doesn't have a straight 6, had a 5.0 or 5.5 liter V8, it's in pretty decent shape. no rest.. and rides smooth and very solid.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

That's an excellent color-match job, Al! The shop must be quite good (or lucky). Congrats on your NEW truck!
The new finish looks a little lighter to me in those shots, but shouldn't be noticeable after a couple of rains
I bet the $4Clunkers won't ever see this one on their lot! -
Lookin good Al, anytime you feel like hauling anything for me, let me know. LOL
