This just in.... miracles do happen

Back in Nov of 2001 this guy had about $20,000 of professional sound equipment stolen from his business. That equipment included 2 unique and somewhat rare amps for his sound recording business.
Two young meth heads break into his business and steal this stuff. The guy spends months going to all the pawn shops in the area, asking and looking for his stolen gear.
Months go by. No sign of his gear. Zoom to March of 2003. Just by chance the guy checks the auctions on Ebay. Much to his surprise he finds someone in his city selling these same rare Crown amps. He emails the guy to find out the serial numbers. One of the serial numbers matches perfectly, it's his amp. The other serial number had been altered, but he could tell it was his amp too. Also at this time he notifies the maker of the amps... just to see if they may have heard anything about them. The maker Crown, says they may be easy to locate, since there were only three of those amp sold here in Eastern Washington state. He owns two of em, and some other guy owns the third one.
So this guy calls the police and the police log onto ebay and win the bid and tell the ebay seller they will pay "top dollar" for both of the amps. They agree to meet at a house where the seller lives, and wham the cops swoop down on the losers (2 young meth head punks, ages 20 and 21) and arrest them with the stolen amps in hand.
The unbelieveable thing about this, is the guy who owns the amps never thought he would ever see his amps again. 2, what are the odds that he would just happen to log onto Ebay within like a 6 day period and happen to find these guys selling his amps? The odds are incredible to say the least.
This story is true. It just came down this week. The guy got back most of his $20,000 sound equipment.
Moral of the story.. if you get something ripped off.. keep looking for it.. you may one day get it back. THE police said the reason he did get his stuff back was because he had the serial numbers and that that the amps were kind of rare.
Just like that girl Elizabeth Smart from Utah, miracles do happen. No one ever thought they would ever see here alive again, esp after almost 9 months. Those are incredible odds too.
