RT3000p Wiring Help

These are the speakers that have the subwoofer below and the higher frequency speaker above.
Normal wiring is to run your + and - cable from the binder posts for your left and right sides and then first go to the subwoofer and then jumper to the speaker above.
I just moved and need to separate these two speakers by 30'. I want to double the wires coming from the + and - binder posts on my receiver and send one set to the subwoofer and then one set to the higher frequency speaker.
Is this OK to do?

I wouldn't. That would change the impedance that your amp is seeing, and would cause it to work a lot harder.
What you could do is make a custom pair of jumpers that would go the required distance between the two cabinets. Just run the cables from your amp to one of the cabinets, and then have a 30' pair of jumpers going to the second cabinet. That would probably be your best option. The nirvana inducer-

Yep, that is exactly what I figured.
I should have read my manuals before pulling wire underneath a very cramped, nasty, wet crawspace. Had I read the manual I would have just run a dedicated subwoofer cable and then done a y-split.
