I had one long ago.Its ok for low power systems I guess as long as you can get one for around 50.00...Otherwise I would go with something from PS audio like one of those UPC units if you can find one.SDA-2BTL with custom IC

It's got more bite than you think...it will run 750 watts average output and is decent design. I had good luck with mine and the delay on/off for your amps is handy as well. For the money they sell for they are a good buy used.

I was thinking about getting one of those, but ended up getting an APC H10.
I had several people advise me of the possibility that the ACE-515's could get a bit worn out over time. The surge protection circuitry ages and can become a lot weaker.
Personally, I'd pass on it and get something more up to date. The APC H10/H15 are both excellent units, and can be had for real cheap.
I don't have any experience with any of the PS Audio units, but they get real good press.The nirvana inducer-

Uesd one for many years, bought brand new from "The Good Guys", now defunct.
Anyhow I digress, never had a problem with it. Amp delay feature worked really well.
I upgraded after a few years for video reasons (excuses). Ok if your getting a good deal
