I don't know what I'd do if that happened to me.

I'm not much for lawsuits but this would definitely be grounds for one. Without a doubt. I could not imagine the inconvenience this woman had....and will have.
In this case? I'd sue. Somethin' hardcore. If a criminal did that it would be a felony for breaking and entering. You just can't chalk something like that up to something like a "clerical error". I hope she gets proper justice awarded to her.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
She should be awarded the house, free and clear, and skip the lawsuit.

Eh, that would be fair IMO. Seriously. What they did was beyond wrong, invading, insulting and just plain stupid. If the courts want to make an "example" without further bankrupting the country? That's not a bad idea.
Again, IMO.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
But if the error was with the Dean's office or whatever, then how would you sue?
But yeah, WaMu got...owned... -
Who sold/foreclosed the house? That's who I'd sue. Definitely throw in some pain and suffering.
