What gauge wire should i use to run 2 amps, a pa 1200.1 and a rockford fosgate 750x. The run would be about 20 feet. I was going to run one wire back a then split it. Would 2 ga. be enough? Thanks

1600 watts?? No, 2 gauge wouldnt be enough. You could maybe scrape by with 2 if you werent running a lot of bass heavy music, used the sub amp at 4 ohms and such but why chance it. Do it right.

+1 for 1/0 and you won't regret spending a little extra in the first place.

I think the idea is to go a little over so there is no doubt there is enough power for everything. That way if i upgrade stuff, power and ground will not have to be. Thanks guys.
